Outreach House is able to fulfill its mission to provide for our neighbors in need through the generosity of our local community. St. James Church provides our physical space and the community provides in-kind and monetary donations to keep our pantry shelves stocked and our clothing racks full.
Share Your Time: Volunteers work Monday & Wednesday mornings 9:30-11:30 each week, organizing our space and the 1st Tuesday and following Saturday and the 3rd Tuesday each month, assisting clients.
Tuesday hours are 9:00-11:00 AM & 5:30-7:30 PM – Saturday hours are 9:00-11:00 AM.
To become part of our volunteer staff:
email outreachhouse@stjames-episcopal.org or leave a message at 610-489-3481.
Make in-kind Donations: Nonperishable food, cleaning supplies, & personal care items can be left in the gated donation area at the end of our porch. Items left in the gated area are taken inside each evening.
Organize a Drive: Every donation matters whether you choose to focus on a particular product or hold a general collection. Drives have been run in the past by local churches, elementary schools, scout troops, sports teams, social organizations and local businesses. No collection is too small…everything can be put to use
Provide Financial Support: While Outreach House relies heavily on in-kind donations, we cannot depend on those donations to keep our grocery shelves fully stocked. Monetary donations allow us the flexibility to purchase food and other supplies as needed.
